We constructed our bin hides with imported timber which is planned for a smooth finish and can easily be painted to the colour scheme of the home or garden so it blends nicely with the landscape. Alternatively; the bin hides can be left to grey naturally and because the timber used is already treated the bin hides will last for decade to come.
